What makes MaMeMi’s pizza different from all other pizzas? The answer is the dough. Our dough is rooted in a long-standing pizza tradition, especially characteristic of Rome, and defines our pizzas – a thin, crispy crust with the perfect crunch. A top-secret blend of five different types of organic flour from small Italian producers, combined with a unique kneading process, creates the thin, crispy crust that MaMeMi is known for. Years of experience, research, and a strong passion for creating a truly emotional culinary experience are what drive MaMeMi – and form the DNA of our pizzas.

Wine

After pizza, wine is the next essential pillar at MaMeMi. We aim to challenge the common idea that pizza should always be paired with beer. That’s why we’ve been on a long journey in search of the perfect wines for MaMeMi, visiting hundreds of Italian producers at their vineyards. What all our winemakers share is a deep passion for their craft, a commitment to the highest quality, and a strong focus on environmentally friendly production and cultivation. On our wine list, you’ll find well over four hundred different wines, and we can share the full story behind each one. Not only the type of wine and its flavor profile, but also the life story of the winemaker behind it-we’ve met them all personally. We believe that truly unforgettable memories and taste experiences are created when you gain a deeper understanding of the person behind the wine. Our winemakers place great importance on respecting the land they cultivate and use very few chemicals – often none at all – in their production. They follow organic, biodynamic, and natural methods without the use of fertilizers, allowing the wine to express itself in its purest form. At MaMeMi, we select only grapes that can grow naturally in their regions of origin, without the use of chemicals or artificial intervention. This allows us to offer a wine selection that truly represents the regions of Italy where the grapes are grown, without compromising their natural character.

Behind MaMeMi

Behind MaMeMi are Daniel Di Pierro, Danilo Barletta, and Francesco Barletta – two brothers and their cousin, who grew up together in a small town not far from Italy’s capital, Rome.

Each of them forms part of MaMeMi’s DNA, contributing their unique expertise to create a strong and well-functioning team. Daniel is an expert in customer service and management, Danilo is a certified sommelier with an exceptional passion for wine, and Francesco is the man behind MaMeMi’s crispy pizzas and their unique toppings.

In 2014, after spending many years in different parts of the world, they all reunited in Copenhagen. There, they decided to embark on a true pizza journey and laid the foundation for MaMeMi – a very special place that brings together shared childhood memories and a love for Italian cuisine, with a mission to serve the best pizza and wine to the people of Copenhagen.
